Decorative Resin Surfacing

Waterseal is able to offer wide range of resin bonded and resin bound aggregated surfacing systems, which can be applied to areas such as foot paths, driveways, ornamental areas, car parks and cycle ways.

Incorporating a range of appropriate sealer/primer coats, these systems can be applied to most sound substrates, old and new.

These natural aggregates can be chosen to either blend into an environment, such as an area of natural beauty or, in contrast, provide a bright and highly visible delineation.

With quick curing times and fast application rates, large areas can be coated quickly with contract programmes being kept to a minimum which, in turn, will reduce any potential disruption.

Natural aggregates are scattered onto an applied resin that cures to form a fully bonded system.
The system gives the appearance of gravel providing texture and an aesthetically pleasing look.
The aggregate is chosen by the client and is typically 1-3mm or 2-5mm in size.

With the resin bound system the selected aggregates are added to the resin during the mixing process. The product is then trowel applied to a specified depth.
Once completed this product provides a smooth finish with hard wearing properties.

Utilising a similar principle, these materials can be developed to be used within potential applications such as tree pits, to form a neat and aesthetic surface finish.

This method of sealing a tree pit detail is far easier to maintain than traditional methods, as it is cast in situ and has no loose ancillary items or materials which can be lost or vandalised.
